Christian Witness Team

The ministry of the Christian Witness Team is to help fulfill the Great Commission by winning Nigerians for the  Kingdom of  God through making Christ known to everyone in the 31 states of  Nigeria and beyond.

  • The work of CWT Inc. began when God called Joshua  Ekpikhe, along with his wife Elizabeth, and  Mishael Nathan in November 1961 to leave their employment in  Kaduna and spend all their time preaching the gospel. Both Joshua and  Mishael had come to know and love the Lord through the ministry of evangelical Christian missionaries in  Kaduna .
  • Their great burden was to give their lives fully to establish a witness for the Lord- hence the name Christian Witness Team. With the effectiveness of this witness scores of dynamic young men and woman have come to know the Lord. Many of them have surrendered their lives to serve the Lord full time in the Christian Witness Team at great sacrifice!
  • Through God's mercy they  have been very successful in an area where most do not go. They work primarily in the villages-where the people in most instances do not have basic daily needs- where education is limited- where living conditions can be harsh. But the Lord has been good to us. In the last 3 decades of "But seek ye first the  Kingdom of  God and His righteousness " God has empowered the Christian Witness Team to grow and prosper in the Lord.
  • Today they have 9 ministries that are used as tools to spread the gospel and witness to the souls of the Nigerian man and woman. Each ministry is based on the principal of producing the kind of Christian warrior who can reproduce himself or herself.

It is very satisfying to see what the Lord has done so far. Right now, the Christian Witness Team is poised  for a miraculous expansion as the foundation has been laid. The potential impact on  Nigeria is enormous  as the harvest of souls for the Kingdom is continuing.
